The Out of Order Detective

I promise, I have not been slacking off! I’ve been writing! For those of you who don’t know, I actually have 2 pen names and I’m trying, with some success, to write for both of them every week. To prove I haven’t been slacking off, I present the latest from Elizabeth Bruner.

The Out of Order Detective is the continuing adventures of one of the most well-received characters I’ve written about on my blog. Eliza Carlisle is a private investigator who specializes in the strange and unusual cases. She met her husband in Ancient Babylon and has to save him from the little green men who abducted him. Her private life aside, some of her clients are the things of legend.

Honestly, I plan on writing many more stories about Eliza and her adventures. I’ve been told she reminds people of Doctor Who, though not so much of the Doctor. I envisioned her as a bit of a cross between Sam Spade and Donna Noble so this not only works for me, it’s one of the best compliments I’ve gotten do far.

I sincerely hope everybody enjoys reading about her as much as I enjoyed writing about her.

The Out of Order Detective is currently available at AmazonBarnes and Noble and Kobo.
